You Are a Brand New Person

In the physical realm, objects that are new, over time, can lose their value, wear out, break down, become unable to be repaired, or become discarded as trash. This is not true though in the spiritual realm where human lives are concerned. What is made spiritually new can never be subject to physical deterioration, decay or depreciation and it can never become rubbish.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Knowledge has increased and people today have capability to create all kinds of products, processes, and innovations– but no person has the capability to cause the old things concerning a person to be removed or to make a person new on the inside. Only God can do this. He also provides brand new mercies to us- on a daily basis -first thing every morning.
The costs for this new life in Christ have already been paid for and access is always available to every person. This newness produces a sweet smelling aroma that can be easily detected and that positively impacts, not just the person who is made new, but others as well. In life, there are many difficult things that we often have to experience and endure. Regardless of the disappointments, crises, struggles, or opposition that we face, we should allow nothing to sabotage the newness of life that we are expected to walk in as we live in Christ.
You are a brand new person! Embrace your newness as never before and know that the old things concerning your life have passed away and all things have become new. Even though you are presently in this world, the new you is not of this world. See yourself as a brand new person. The old way of seeing yourself is over. The old way of seeing others is over. It is time for you now to familiarize yourself with the new.
If you are reading this and have not accepted Jesus Christ in your life, you can do so right now by praying this prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the Son of God and the only way to God. I know that I am a sinner and I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I ask you for forgiveness for my sins and I turn away from sin. I invite you into my heart and my life and from this moment on, I trust you and follow you as my Lord and Savior.
Now begin to walk in your newness.
